Airlines set to drop fuel surcharge in air tickets

Airlines are set to drop fuel surcharge from tickets in India. The moves from continuing reduction in price of aviation turbine fuel. ATF prices have reduced from Rs. 79,716 in 2009 to Rs. 33,260 now which will also make companies to set an all inclusive price or it can be clubbed to offer special discounts in this lean season extending upto April. Air India has taken the initiative and announced an all inclusive fare from April 1 2016. Jet Airways, IndiGo and SpiceJet are among the Indian carriers that have stopped showing FS separately and give a combined base fare
